Ghanaian recording artist Henry Nuamah, known professionally as Krymi, has released his latest single, "No Feelings." The track, blending Highlife and Afrobeats influences, became available on major digital streaming and download platforms this week.
"No Feelings" follows Krymi's earlier release, "Notty," and marks his continued output under the Highly Spiritual Music label.
The song was produced by Beat Vampire, with mixing and mastering handled by veteran Ghanaian producer David Kojo Kyei, professionally known as Kaywa. Kaywa boasts an extensive career in the Ghanaian music industry, having collaborated with numerous prominent artists over the past decade.
In an exclusive radio interview, Krymi revealed that "No Feelings" delves into the emotional state of a man rendered emotionally detached by repeated romantic disappointments. The lyrics reportedly depict his inability to reciprocate affection when encountering a new potential partner, a self-protective numbness stemming from past heartbreak. Krymi described the theme as a reflection of a common psychological defense mechanism.
An official music video, directed by Valentine Bold Quainoo (The Boldz), was premiered August 10, 2022 on YouTube.
The release of "No Feelings," distributed via the ONErpm platform, represents Krymi's latest effort to maintain visibility and artistic engagement in Ghana's competitive music market. The Ghanaian music industry continues to grow, with Afrobeats and Highlife fusions gaining increasing international traction through digital streaming.
