These standards explain how we approach our editorial work, treat the people and subjects we cover, and correct mistakes when they occur.
Scope
These standards apply to content published by MuzicGh, including news reports, explainers, features, analysis, and music and entertainment coverage. Contributors and guest writers are expected to follow them where applicable.Accuracy and Sources
We aim to verify information before publication and rely on credible sources, including official documents, public records, research, expert commentary and reputable news organisations.Where possible, we link to original sources so readers can examine the evidence themselves. We distinguish confirmed facts from allegations, opinions and unverified claims, and make limitations clear when information cannot be independently confirmed. We do not knowingly publish fabricated facts, quotations or sources.
Fairness and Editorial Independence
We aim to represent people, organisations and events fairly and in context. When reporting allegations or disputes, we distinguish claims from established facts and, where appropriate, give those concerned an opportunity to respond. Our headlines should accurately reflect the content of our articles. We avoid misleading claims and exaggerated language intended solely to attract clicks.
Editorial decisions are guided by evidence, relevance and public interest. Sponsored or promotional content should be clearly labelled, and relevant conflicts of interest should be disclosed where they could affect readers' understanding.
Reporting, Analysis and Artificial Intelligence
We publish news reports, explainers, features and analysis. We aim to distinguish established facts from interpretation and opinion.Artificial intelligence tools may assist our editorial process, but their outputs are not automatically reliable. We review AI-assisted content and check factual claims and sources before publication. Editorial responsibility remains with MuzicGh. We do not knowingly publish fabricated evidence or quotations, whether generated by a person or an AI tool.
Music, Entertainment and Sensitive Topics
We do not present rumours, gossip or unconfirmed entertainment-industry claims as established facts. When a story relies on unverified reports or social media claims, we aim to make that limitation clear. For significant claims about a person's private life, we exercise particular care and seek confirmation or a response where appropriate. We also take care when covering health, mental health, children, personal hardship and allegations of wrongdoing. We aim to respect privacy, avoid unnecessary harm and provide appropriate context.
Our mental health and psychology articles provide general information and are not a substitute for individual assessment, diagnosis or professional care.
Corrections and Updates
When we identify a factual error or materially misleading statement, we review it and make appropriate corrections. For significant errors, we aim to add a dated correction note explaining what was changed. When new information materially changes a story, we may update the article and identify the update where appropriate.Minor spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors that do not affect meaning may be corrected without a separate notice. We do not change accurate reporting simply because someone disagrees with it.
Removing Published Content
We do not remove articles lightly, because published material can form part of the public record. However, we may remove or substantially edit content when necessary to address serious factual problems, legal concerns, safety risks or disproportionate harm to an individual's privacy. Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we will explain significant removals or changes. How to Request a Correction
We welcome readers' help in maintaining accuracy. If you believe an article contains an error or materially misleading information, contact us through our Contact Us page. Please include the article's URL, the specific information you believe is incorrect, and supporting evidence or reliable sources where available.
We will review the concern and determine whether a correction, clarification or update is appropriate. We aim to handle genuine correction requests fairly and promptly.
