The announcement was made on June 8, 2023, and Camidoh will be competing with other talented artists from Nigeria, the UK, Cameroon, France, Brazil, and South Africa. Some of the names on the list are Asake, Flo, Libianca, Maureen, MC Ryan SP, Pabi Cooper, Raye, and Werenoi. The winner will be revealed at the glamorous event in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 25, 2023.

Personally, I have listened to most of his songs on Boomplay and seen his music videos on YouTube and I must say that I really like his style and voice. He has a unique blend of Afropop and R&B, with catchy melodies and lyrics.
