Starting with the 27th edition of the awards, the winner of the category will receive a cash prize of GH¢100,000. Additionally, the package includes support for the production of a music video for the artist's next project and a curated album listening experience sponsored by Guinness Ghana.
The initiative aims to extend support beyond the awards ceremony, creating long-term value for artists and the broader creative industry. Yaa Amoah-Owusu, Head of Media & Partnerships at Guinness Ghana, stated the package is a way of "recognizing excellence and investing in the future of the artist and the industry at large."
Robert Klah, Head of Public Events & Communications at Charterhouse, the producers of the event, noted the intervention aligns with their commitment to elevating Ghanaian music by providing tangible support.
The nominees competing for the inaugural prize package are Black Sherif (Iron Boy), Stonebwoy (Torcher), Gyakie (After Midnight), Medikal (Disturbation II), Wendy Shay (Ready), and Kweku Smoke (Walk With Me).
