The anticipation is building up! Ghanaian spoken word artist and poet Alex Yeboah, popularly known as Kwabena Churchill-MOMC, has officially released more details for the launch of his highly anticipated debut fantasy novel, Nafisa: Once a Caterpillar, Forever a Butterfly.
Set to take place on Saturday, 10th October 2026, the official launch event will be hosted at the SS Mary and Joseph Catholic Church, Nsususoso, Agona Swedru, kicking off at exactly 12:30 PM.
Newly released details give us a deeper look into the captivating world Churchill has created. The book tells the story of Nafisa, a caterpillar whose transformation is delayed while all her friends successfully become butterflies. Labeled an omen and stripped of honour by her kingdom, Nafisa must hold firmly to her faith, courage, and self-worth as she waits for a change that comes at a time no one expects.
Through powerful themes of transformation, resilience, self-discovery, faith, and purpose, Nafisa speaks directly to young people who feel "behind," unseen, or pressured by the heavy weight of comparison.
