The tracks, titled "Awurade Aye" and "Two Two", became available on major streaming platforms, distributed via Ziiki Media.
Omar Sterling, one member of the duo, announced the release on social media platform X, sharing streaming links and artwork for both songs.
The release represents a return for the duo after a period without new group material.
R2Bees, comprising cousins Faisal Hakeem (Omar Sterling) and Rashid Mugeez, formed in 2008. They gained prominence in Ghana's hiplife and Afrobeats scene and received a BET Award nomination in 2013.
Their previous studio albums include 'Site 15' (2019) and 'Back 2 Basics' (2021).
Ghanaian media outlets shared the streaming links and promoted the singles shortly after the announcement.
Fellow Ghanaian artist Efya expressed enthusiasm for the release on X, posting: "Waking up to new music from my faves omg what a blessing..." while quoting the original announcement.
Lyric videos for both tracks were uploaded to YouTube on the same day. The releases generated positive discussion among fans and industry figures on X in Ghana.
