Under the change, Google AI Pro subscribers will receive $10 in monthly Google Cloud credits and Google AI Ultra subscribers will receive $100 per month, the company said. The credits can be applied to Google Cloud services such as Vertex AI, Cloud Run and the Gemini API.
Google said the move is intended to remove a “speed bump” between experimentation and deployment by connecting prototyping tools and cloud resources within the same subscription. Previously, GDP premium access provided advanced models for experimentation, but moving to production typically required a separate Cloud billing setup.
The company outlined an end-to-end workflow that subscribers can follow. Developers can refine prompts and prototype in Google AI Studio, use the new agentic integrated development environment called Google Antigravity or the open-source Gemini CLI for agent-based work, and then apply the monthly Cloud credits to deploy and scale applications.

Google said the credits are designed to be used directly for deployment and scaling, whether via Vertex AI, Cloud Run or through the Gemini API to interact with agents from AI Studio or Vertex AI. The company framed the change as a way to shorten the path from an idea in a chat window to a live application.
Active subscribers to Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra must visit the Google Developer Program portal to activate the integrated benefits and access program resources, communities and forums, the announcement said.
Product managers Niv Govindaraju and Bala Muthukrishnan authored the post on Google’s blog announcing the update and described the integration as provided “at no extra cost” to existing subscribers.
