In a press release dated January 29, 2026, Director-General Ruth Dela Seddoh confirmed that all eligible National Service personnel can now access and download their e-certificates through the NSA portal here.
The digital certification system eliminates the traditional requirement for physical certificates, though personnel who prefer printed documents can still request them for a prescribed fee through the NSA portal. The Authority emphasized that the digital service remains optional and free of charge.
Annual Evaluation Forms Now Available
Alongside the certificate release, the NSA has uploaded Annual Evaluation Forms for the 2024/2025 service year onto the NSA portal. All personnel currently serving within this period must download, complete, and submit the endorsed forms to their respective District National Service Offices.Personnel who complete their evaluation forms gain immediate access to their e-certificates without waiting for separate approval processes.
Verification Process Requirements
To access e-certificates, applicants must follow a structured verification process on the portal. Personnel submit an online request with their NSS details, after which the system processes applications within five working days. Applicants receive confirmation via SMS or email upon approval.The verification stage requires identity confirmation through Ghana Card details and a live selfie captured using the applicant's device camera. Upon successful verification, the system releases the e-certificate for immediate download.
