NSA Disburses November, December 2025 And January 2026 Allowances

The National Service Authority (NSA) of Ghana has announced the successful payment of allowances covering November and December 2025, as well as January 2026, to all eligible National Service Personnel (NSP), bringing three months of outstanding payments to a close within a single week.

November and December 2025 Payments Confirmed

In an official press release issued on 20th February 2026, the NSA informed National Service Personnel and the general public that allowances for November and December 2025 had been successfully processed and disbursed. The Authority urged all eligible service personnel to check their respective GhanaPay accounts to confirm receipt of payment.

The announcement acknowledged the patience and cooperation demonstrated by personnel during the processing period, an implicit recognition that delays had been a source of concern among the workforce. At the time, the Authority also assured personnel that the January 2026 allowance was actively being processed and would be paid upon completion of the necessary administrative procedures.

January 2026 Allowance Paid on 27th February

True to that assurance, the NSA followed up with a second press release dated 27th February 2026, confirming that the January 2026 allowance had been successfully processed and paid on Friday, 27th February 2026. Personnel were again directed to verify their GhanaPay accounts to confirm receipt.

The back-to-back releases, both signed by Director-General Ruth Dela Seddoh, signal a concentrated administrative effort to clear the payment backlog and restore confidence among the country's national service workforce.

GhanaPay Remains the Official Payment Channel

Both announcements consistently directed personnel to their GhanaPay accounts as the official channel for receiving and verifying allowance payments. GhanaPay, Ghana's interoperable payment platform, serves as the disbursement infrastructure for the national service programme.

NSA Reaffirms Commitment to Timely Payments

In its most recent statement, the Authority noted that it remains focused on strengthening its administrative processes to enhance efficiency and timeliness in allowance payments going forward. Management reiterated its appreciation for the dedication and service rendered by all National Service Personnel to the nation.
