The carnival, themed "Celebrating Youth Culture, Creativity and Unity" and branded "Hohoe Next Level," featured Ghanaian recording artists Edem and Enam, alongside emerging acts from the Volta and Oti regions.
Tsekpo said the entertainment sector in the constituency had long stagnated and required structured intervention to develop local talent. He called on residents to support a broader developmental agenda, saying Hohoe had the character of "a city that never sleeps."
Enam, who describes herself as a Ghanaian Afro-Spiritualist, addressed the crowd on youth self-discipline and pushed back against criticism of her artistic expression, urging that her performance style not be "demonised."
Rapper Edem used his platform to advocate for sexual health awareness, stressing abstinence and condom use as protections against sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies. He also praised Tsekpo for development work in the constituency.
The event was attended by Fred K. Agbenyo, MP for Guan Constituency, and Jean-Marie Formadi, MP for Biakoye.
