Google said the new voice capabilities are meant to help users brainstorm, organize thoughts and get work done using spoken commands. Gmail Live allows users to search their inbox by voice, Docs Live can help build drafts and structure documents, and Keep can turn spoken “brain dumps” into organized notes and lists. The company said these conversational tools are rolling out to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and will be previewed for Google Workspace business customers this summer.
The company also introduced Google Pics, a new image creation and editing app built on its latest Nano Banana model. Google said the tool is designed to give users more precise creative control through features such as object segmentation, text editing and translation, plus integration with Workspace apps beginning with Slides and Drive. Google said Pics is launching first to a limited group of Trusted Testers, before rolling out globally this summer to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and in preview for Workspace business customers.
Google further said AI Inbox is getting new features that generate personalized draft replies, surface relevant files beside tasks and help users manage email more efficiently. The company said Gemini Spark is being positioned as a personal AI agent that can take actions under a user’s direction, while asking before high-stakes actions such as sending emails or adding calendar events.
