The new Galaxy Z series is designed to offer different experiences depending on how people use their smartphones. Samsung says the Fold8 Ultra is built for users who prioritize productivity and content creation, while the Fold8 targets immersive entertainment and the Flip8 focuses on portability, creativity and quick everyday interactions.
The flagship Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra introduces Samsung's first Ultra-branded foldable, featuring an 8-inch main display, a 200MP primary camera, improved cooling, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging and the company's slimmest Fold design to date. The device is aimed at users who frequently multitask or edit photos and videos on their smartphones.
Samsung also redesigned the Galaxy Z Fold8 with new screen proportions intended to make watching videos, browsing, reading and gaming feel more natural while reducing weight for improved everyday comfort.
The Galaxy Z Flip8 receives a redesigned FlexWindow, allowing users to access Galaxy AI features, notifications and camera tools directly from the outer display. Samsung says the phone weighs just 180 grams and is its slimmest Flip model yet, emphasizing convenience and personalization.
Galaxy AI powers features across all three devices, including smarter multitasking, AI-assisted photography, automatic video reframing and personalized experiences optimized for each form factor. Samsung says the latest lineup reflects seven generations of foldable innovation and aims to make foldable smartphones more accessible to a wider audience.
