Sammy Gyamfi, who heads the state gold regulator, was honoured under a new category recognizing the country's top 10 chief executives for leadership excellence across various sectors.
The award, received on his behalf by Media Relations Officer Prince Kwame Minkah, acknowledged GoldBod's contributions to strengthening Ghana's gold trading framework, increasing foreign exchange earnings, and promoting local refining initiatives.
Other recipients included executives from Tema Oil Refinery, State Insurance Corporation, and the Tourism Authority, highlighting leadership achievements in both public and private enterprises.
GoldBod holds exclusive authority over gold purchasing, valuation, and export operations in Ghana, playing a central role in the country's minerals sector regulation.
